For Such a Time as This

In Partnership with St. Placid Priory

Thank you to Krista Tippet of NPR’s ON BEING for graciously granting us permission to use her four-part podcast series, “Foundations for Being Alive Now.” In partnership with St. Placid Priory, we recently hosted Zoom conversations inspired by the themes:

  • The Generative Narrative for Our Time
  • Living the Questions
  • Taking a Long View of Time and becoming critical yeast
  • calling and wholeness

For each 90 minutes, we listened to her 10-minute podcast and used that as the springboard for the kind of focused, faith-probing conversation that helps us pay attention to our place in the grand scheme of things, particularly within the challenges of these times within which we live.

These conversations were so rich, affirming, and provocative, that I have decided to invite larger participation. Please CONTACT ME to set up a time for you and your friends to gather in a similar way for 60-90 minutes with me as your facilitator.

THE FIRST SUPPER

A day retreat exploring the timeless invitation to dine with Christ. Join presenter, Kathleen Kichline, M. Div. in considering the scriptural, historical, and theological significance of this eternal Eucharist/ Passover event—celebrated then, celebrated now.
